Event Producer | Owner
orn in Chicago and raised in Phoenix, Rhonda Rush has an extensive event planning, marketing and hospitality background. Upon graduating from University of Arizona (GO WILDCATS!), Rhonda re-located to Los Angeles and worked in the entertainment industry for 10 years as a film publicist and marketing professional. Her wide range of clientele consisted of actors, producers, directors, production companies and studios. She also managed press junkets, coordinated film premieres and organized high-profile charity galas. In 2003, Rhonda returned to Phoenix and launched Impact Events, working with a wide array of social and corporate clientele.
Impact Events is also involved with various local charities and industry organizations, such as Experience Scottsdale, WIPA (Wedding Industry Professional Organization) and HIP (Hospitality Industry Professionals).
On her non-event days, Rhonda enjoys spending quality time with her husband Jason (whom she met in preschool but married many, many years later), teenage sons Benjamin and Matthew, and their beloved cockapoo Woodrow “Woody” Rush. She loves her endorphin-packed classes at Orange Theory, biking on her Peloton, outdoor running and races, vanilla lattes from Starbucks, and every.single.show. on HGTV.
I really don't even know how to begin to thank you for giving Erica and Rob such a beautiful, flawless wedding. Every vendor was outstanding, the setting was amazing and the service at the Royal Palms was beyond wonderful. It was such an intimate and family-oriented affair that I am still crying. You, and your incredible team, were the epitome of professionalism and always stayed in the background, allowing the couple to shine. I am eternally grateful.
We wanted to take a moment to thank you again for planning Rachel & Nick’s Wedding. Our family was extremely impressed by the talent and care that you and your team so generously provided. We continue to feel grateful for having had you guide them through the ups, downs, uncertainties, and pure joy of getting married!
This is a little bittersweet since Matthew’s Bar Mitzvah is over and I won’t see my event planning team on a regular basis. We will be forever thankful for all your dedication and hard work with making our event weekend so amazing! You are truly a rock star in every way! I don’t know how you do it – BUT I am glad you do it!!
Lead Event Planner
pending the first few of months of her life in South Korea, Kimberli Stone, eventually landed in Arizona. She grew up in Mesa and attended Arizona State University (GO SUN DEVILS!).
She briefly made the move to Southern California, but realized that although the ocean was delightful, the desert was calling her home.
Upon her transition back to Arizona, Kimberli worked as the event sales manager at the historic Hilton property in downtown Phoenix and popular entertainment venue, Lucky Strike. In 2015, Impact Events was incredibly lucky to find Kimberli after a chance business meeting and now serves as the company’s lead event planner. For the past five years, Kimberli has planned and flawlessly executed numerous weddings, mitzvahs, birthday celebrations, baby showers, anniversary milestones and corporate galas. Her favorite part of planning is creating custom design styling boards. She loves presentation day with her clients and then seeing their design come to “life” on event day. She thrives on positive energy, organized chaos and remaining calm at all times.
In her free time, you can catch her and her husband Kevin riding bikes through the neighborhoods of Phoenix, enjoying brunch at local eateries and spoiling their cute pup, Bella the Bulldog.
If Kimberli looks familiar, you may have spotted her singing at a Phoenix Suns or Arizona Diamondback game but her true claim to fame is 2006 Arizona Idol. Just don’t ask her to sing on cue. :)
